Any suggestions on what to put on the front end and windshield of the car to make the bug removal easier?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

mineral spirits might loosen them from the front end but wouldn't put mineral spirits on the windshield

Someone told me 3M makes a clear film you can have put over the front end to make bug removal easy but I think it costs a couple hundred to have it put on.

Those monsters will reek havoc on your paint job! We use this:
DWG International - Featuting Dri Wash 'n Guard Waterless Car Wash and Auto detailing Products, Driwash, dry wash, drywash each and every time we come in. It actually works really well on the windshield too! Takes the love-bugs right off!

We have this on all our cars....in fact, one car is completely wrapped in it. It does make taking the bugs off easier and really helps on the rock chips, etc. But your right, it can cost a few hundred for just the front end and to look right..it has to be done by a pro.

Xzilon sealants protect the paint from love bug damage---guarantees it--BUT
according to the warranties "must apply two coats of xzylon to the leading edges"

Must be applied by a professional--way worth it--we plan to double treat our vehicles prior to our move

Welcome to Xzilon

Just spray some PAM on the front of your car. as far as the windshield just wash it regularly. At least they die with a smile on their face.
