Default Rosenberg Park and Ride question

Hello!
Does anyone know any information on the Metro's Park and Ride system available to residents of Rosenberg? I can't find any information on it on the ridemetro.org website.
I seen it around 59, is it open?
Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Houston Commuter Bus Service From Rosenberg & Needville May Arrive This Summer | FortBendNow.com

Is this what you're seeing?

Rosenberg is not part of METRO; Sugar Land has its own bus service that apparently will be serving Rosenberg now. You can take it into Houston to connect with METRO though.

It's really frustrating that the City of Houston, or Harris County, can't work with other cities/municipalities in order to get people to work IN ONE VEHICLE. *sigh* If Chicago can do it, why can't Houston?

I think the issue is Sugar Land not buying in moreso than Harris Co. not working with them. SL does seem to have a bit of an independant streak when it comes to these things.

Yerp. Has mainly to do with residents of Sugar Land, Pearland etc. equating METRO service with crime.

Isn't Metro funded by Harris County tax dollars? Isn't that why it is mostly in Harris County? I'm sure that if the surrounding counties would pony up tax dollars, Metro would be happy to investigate adding services. Metro does have Park n Rides at the very limits of Harris county. You can't get much further out in Harris than Grand Parkway and Katy Freeway

I think it's time to look at dissolving METRO as it exists today and entering into a proper metropolitan area-wide system. Once oil goes back up (and it's worked its way up to the $60 range) the economy will be rolling, people will be coming in and they'll be asking for ways to get around driving everywhere and paying $3/gallon.

Thank you everyone for replying. So it *will be* serving the Rosenberg area or has it already started?
Yes, I did see that article, but that's just about the only thing I can find on the subject.
