Tanglewood (77056) 18 years. Birth-College
The Creole (77056) about 6 months.
Houstonian (77024) right after college for a few years.
Bering Townhouse (77057) for a split second.
Tanglewood (77056) 7 years, own house a few years after College
The Woodlands (77381) 1 1/2 years for employment reasons
Briargrove (77057) 3 1/2 years
Western Memorial (77079) coming up on owning for one year, living for 6 months.

Next move is to 77024 in 5 years and building the "forever place".. That's the plan Stan.

Aldine: 1978-2003 (no choice, born there and was still living w/ folks til we moved. decent area in the 1980s. crime rate grew exponentially early to mid 90s. become GHETTO by late 90s/early 2000s.

Conroe: 2004-early 2005. (met wife, married there). too far a drive.

Klein: half of 2005: 6 mos lease to be a lil close to Houston for college.

Spring: 2005-2007: 2 year lease. to get out of the ghetto, pay down debt before getting a house. this area went downhill fast since late 90s.
thanks section 8!!!

The Woodlands: 2007-2009; got our feet wet with a rental house. (way to far from civilization and rational thinking) cant pay to me to drive on I-45 anymore!

Cy Fair: 2009-Present (best area Ive ever lived in; love it) convienently close to 290, Beltway, I-10, etc...

80's: Galveston Island East End Historical District
90's: Sharpstown
Oughts: Lakes of Fondren (Fondren SW area)

Even though, typical of Houston, there were some rough areas nearby in this unzoned wildwest town :-) I enjoyed the close proximity to shopping, clubs, restaurants, interesting stuff in general, in all 3 areas. Lakes of Fondren is a gorgeous place for rediculous cost. I think I'm retiring here.

Oh boy. I'm not going to be able to put most places, haha. There are to many.

As far as I can remember I was born in Houston and lived in 3rd ward(right where Oak Farms took over).
Moved to the Southeast side(Kelso Street).
Then to a different part of the neighborhood Andrea St),
Then even deeper into the hood, over by Bellfort and Cullen.
Then closer to my middle school(Cullen Middle School) on Driftwood St.
Then back to the 77021 area (Weston St).
Then to the Concord Apts. on Southmore near 610 South.
Then right down the street to Perry St.
Then closer to down town(to the worst place ever) on Live Oak St, near 288.
Then to Briargrove Dr. extremely close to Miyako's and Baby Dolls.
Then went to work in Maryland(still lived in Houston) and stayed there for five months, so I practically lived there.
Finally to where I live in the Westchase area.

That's all, haha. Sentence structure not withstanding.

Lifelong Acres Homes resident. I lived in the heart of AH on Antoine & Desoto. Desoto St. was named as the most notorious neighborhood in Houston due to rampant gunfire. I briefly lived in/around Acres Homes in spots like:

De Priest St.
