I have always found Kroger more expensive so the fact their organics are more expensive does not surprise me one bit.

Being from S. Tx/ Central Texas, I hold my loyalty to a texas based company, HEB!

I first ran into the wonderful Fred Meyer stores while visiting in Idaho. IMHO, Kroger should seriously consider expanding that concept in the Houston area, particularly inside the Loop where good grocery stores are scarce.
