Westpark Tollway doesn't take 2 hours. It's an alternative to I-10. The buses on I-10 go faster than cars because they use the hov lane.

I live on Park Row. It takes me about 5-10 minutes to get to the "Addicks" Park and Ride on the corner of Highway 6 and Interstate 10. It takes the bus about 30 minutes (avg) to get downtown.
From Cinco Ranch, I believe that the closest Park and Ride lot to you would be the Kingsland lot, on Kingsland blvd just east of Mason Road. From there the bus takes about an additional 10-15 minutes to get downtown.
Yes, if you have to get inbound on the interstate in the morning, you will definitely get bogged down in traffic approaching Highway 6. I drove in it for years and it was always time consuming and never fun. It is even worse now due to all of the construction. The previous poster is correct; the buses take the High Occupancy Vehicle lane and bypass the traffic. If the bus was not available, I would not have taken this new job downtown!

I have no information about getting to Greenspoint by bus. I will tell you that I had to drive there in the mornings this week (from my place on the west side, on Park Row) for an 8 AM training class, and it took me about an hour using I-10 to the tollway (Beltway 8) to Greenspoint Drive. One day it took about 20 minutes longer because there was a wreck on the toll road.
I have never taken the Westpark Toll Road or had to go to the Medical Center so I can't offer you anything there.
