Default List your favorite expensive restaurants

Hey guys,

I'm visiting Houston soon, and I was wondering what some really good restaurants are, so I can take my girlfriend there
Dont worry about price either, I'm fine with anything.
Oh, and it would really help if you know if they take reservations or not.

Thanks in advance guys!

- Raithe

If it's really expensive odds are they take reservations.

Men are expected to wear jackets in the evening and reservations are highly recommended.

Clive's
615 Texas Ave, Houston TX 77002 713.228.8421
One dining favorite, perfect for a special evening, is Clive's. The atmos phere is very elegant and they are very accommodating to the evening theater goers. Men are expected to wear jackets in the evening and reservations are highly recommended.
William's Tower
2800 Post Oak, Houston TX 77056 713.850.8841
The park and fountain around William's Tower, formerly Transco Tower, is one of Houston's most romantic spots. Carriage rides are available around the park, or just go for a nice quiet stroll.

Rainbow Lodge
1 Birdsall St, Houston TX 77077 713.861.8666
Though only minutes from downtown, you will feel far removed in this quaint lodge atmosphere overlooking Buffalo Bayou. Rainbow Lodge was named Gourmet Magazine's Most Romantic Restaurant in 1998. Be sure to try the magnificent mixed grills of seafood and wild game. A jacket is recommended for dinner.

I went to the Rainbow Lodge for Brunch last weekend and wasn't too impressed with the food or service. The 99 cent mimosas were a plus though. Also, we were in a room full of animal heads which isn't romantic to me but the bar area and patio are nice.

If you are going to be as far north as The Woodlands be sure to go to Jaspers ( 9595 Six Pines Dr The Woodlands)
Jasper's Restaurants:Backyard Style Country Cuisine - Plano, Austin & The Woodlands just the pics on the website alone will make you hungry!!

For appetizers be sure to try the Maytag Blue Cheese Potato Chips...absolutely heavenly! Also the crispy calamari with orange-cilantro soy sauce

...and be sure to be seated outside!

I agree on the Rainbow...but I guess there's something for everyone. These were the top rated 5 Star restaurants.
