Is there a Caucasian community Ward?
I guess 6th Ward would be the only ward with a sizeable white population.

These post are built mainly on the denomination geography of Houston. Lived in SE houston all 28 years of my life. 77021 Scott St. Area. Everyone knows everyone. Home invasion here is less likely than in the suburbs. Just don't leave anything quick and easy out, lawnmowers bike etc.. will walk a way. Most crime happens between people who put themselves into that situation. Look people, race plays a lot in this. Basically people are comfortable around their own. I would walk/bike at night around here and down by U of H on a friday night. I would not walk/bike in Katy or parts of Sugarland on friday night for fear of something being thrown at me out of car, police harrassment, or being jumped by some liqoured up young white punks. Pretty sure people in those areas wouldn't walk /bike around 77021 at night for fear of being attacked by blacks on crack. Never spoke to anyone in the tre or the nickel that was scared to come outside. Have seen plenty of reports of apartment complexes where that was said. Basically stay away from the SW and NW with huge swaths of apartments.

6th Ward is Central Houston, on the western edge of the city center. bounded by Memorial Drive to the south, Glenwood Cemetery to the west, Washington Avenue to the north, and Houston Avenue to the east.

The most dangerous area is gunspoint near 45 and beltway 8. Another bad area is around Antoine and Desoto. Another bad area is around highway 290 and Hollister. The area around Hobby airport is raunchy I work over there I was buying gas and had people trying to sell drugs, another time I was buying gas and got in a fight with someone that thought i was a rival gang member.
