What do you think is the most beautiful city around Houston?

I'd say Montgomery.

Big trees. Rolling hills. The lake.

Man-made, I'd say The Woodlands.

You should explore the area a little more.

Lots of places to the north/west and even northeast beyond the subdivision/strip mall sprawl. Montgomery is a good example.

Certainly not Sugar Land or Katy. Both are pleasant but I don't think anyone would call them beautiful. The communities have been created out of Texas prairie.

I've never been to Montgomery but now I want to visit it.

I think Kingwood is prettier than the Woodlands. It's closer to the rolling lands and they seems to have respected the trees a little better.

Montgomery is great, however it's get very congested and built up. And you wouldn't want to commute from there!

Of course, I think things around Buffalo Bayou are some of the prettiest natural beauty in the Houston area. Roll and Green, and a huge amounts of natural hardwoods that are decades old.
