Hi,

I bought brand new car 2 years ago: got something in the mail couple weeks ago asking me to renew registration sticker, so I paid and got new one.

Do I need anything else like vehicle inspection or something?

Thanks.

Yes, you need an inspection every year.

No...the current inspection sticker on your car will give you the month/year of the expiration. It's your responsibility to take it in.

There is no isnpection first year, then the second year there is only safety inspection (if you go before 2 years is up) - $12.5. After 2 years, once a year you have to go get inspection - $40.

What does your inspection sticker say?

^ Correct..You will get nothing notifying you your car must be inspected. For a new car, you have 2 years, after that, it is every year, which is why you didn't have to do it last year.
