YoGaBaGaBa is on a distinguished road
Default University Blvd. & US-59

Does anyone know if TxDOT or the City of SugarLand will ever expand that right hand lane to two lanes? That exit backs up quite a bit during rush hours.

It seems like every few days the police will stake out that intersection and pull over people that make that illegal right hand turn. The stupid part is people still do it .

Even with the backup it only takes about 3-4 minutes to clear the intersection. maybe in the future.
But it seems like a cash cow for the SL police.

I go through that intersection every day and I am THRILLED that the City finally made illegal that turn from the second lane. It was infuriating to wait in the line and then have people cut you off while turning.

Last week someone zoomed up to cut in the the far right lane at the last minute and that person got a ticket, too. All the other drivers were cheering as they drove by.

The line moves quickly now, so it is much improved from the past.

That area is very new... Im sure the city is doing it's best to keep pace with all the development and sea of houses that have come in.

But there shouldn't be a reason to complain... you guys moved to the newer side of town... things arent going to be perfect and stuff takes time... so till then...

cry about it.. lol

PS: the Sugar Land police must have the easiest police job in the world... the know how to hand out tickets for pathetic traffic violations
