Default State jobs in houston

I just moved to houston and have a part time job with boa. however, i have a degree in Accounting. When i was living in Floirda, I was working with State, dept of transportation as an Accountant. I was wondering if there is any site to apply for state job in Texas. Please help me!!!

C'mon, badmaash...you know to start with Google or another search engine to begin a hunt for these types of things, right?
You can also keyword "TX state government jobs" and more sites will pop up for your review.

Well thanks, Cat fancier, I was not specifically looking for DOT. I am looking for site which has all state jobs. But thanks for ur help

Wow, this is strange. My wife and I recently moved to Houston from Florida. We loved the Tampa Bay area, but multiple layoffs forced our hand to look elsewhere for jobs. We landed in Houston. So far, we have been very happy how things turned out. My wife's higher income (compared to Florida) has allowed me to attend graduate school full time.

Although the job market has tightened up considerably in Houston, it pales in comparison to how bad thing are in Florida. People are leaving Florida in droves. Texas, on the hand, is seeing up to 2000 new residents a day.

Yes, working with state here, i enjoyed alot, but things have changed and i am looking at houston, but houston doesnt seem to have any state jobs that website where i can apply for it. I did texas jobs website which has all state jobs, but it looks so badly organized, i mean i c an make better site.

City of Houston eGovernment Center That is the state website and click under "Apply for a job" link I have applied for so many jobs there and still no luck...So good luck to u....maybe you'll do better because u have a degree
