Been there a lot of times already. I was reading reviews about the 3 pyramids in Galveston. Most of them dont think it's worth the money. True?

Couldn't tell you for sure since I have no idea what your kid's into.
I've heard the Rainforest pyramid is still missing a lot of the animals but the Aquarium pyramid still has the fish, penguins etc.

Discovery Green to play in the Gateway Fountain. We just did that last week and my children loved it.

Hot Houston weekends are made for Hermann park. There is fountain for cooling off and plenty of swings and other playground equipment to keep kids busy for an entire day.
My nephews loves running down Hippie Hill, I was tired of watching them, before they ran out of energy. Take a big piece a cardboard, it makes a great grass sled.

I agree with the above post about Hippie Hill.
Also, discovery Green or the Hermann Park splash pad and train.

Not sure what part of town you are in but out in Sugarland I have taken my little one to Stomping Ground. It's a indoor playgym. My daughter absolutely loved it and talks about it everyday. It entertained her for hours and she still was not ready to leave. The price is 7.75 for children 3 and up. The price for toddlers 1 to 2 years old is 4.25. Adults and babies under 1 are free. Here is the link. Stomping Grounds Playland :: Home Page
