OK....let me break this down for you...

-This girl had a boyfriend.
-The boyfriend was really, really angry at her for some reason and saw fit to kill her.
-The boyfriend decided to kill the girl at work.
-The girl worked at Greenspoint mall.

What I am getting at is that it was not a random killing. A person was the target, not the location necessarily. Had she worked at another mall, it would've happened there. I merely used Katy Mills as an example.

Considering the crime for both Zip Codes, I doubt anything would have happened at Katy Mills.

Actually, I prefer the Galleria over all malls in Houston just because I enjoy big crowds and window shopping. If I really want to buy something I do it online!

It is usuall the mall closest to me. Right now that would be Willowbrook. Here is something you might find funny. I use to hang out at Northline mall when I was a teen and use to think Greenspoint was the upscale mall.

If you are an attractive Hispanic female then Sharpstown and Greenspoint are out of the question. You will have the scumbags following you around saying nasty comments the whole time.

I grew up on FM 1960 right by Gunspoint, and even in the mid-90's I found myself going to Willowbrook mall a hell of a lot more, I lived in a violent neighborhood but Gunspoint is just ridiculous. Now I live in Sugar Land, so I frequent First Colony Mall/Sharpstown Mall a lot -- a lot of you are probably wondering "why bother going to sharpstown when you live right by first colony mall?". Well, different strokes, first colony mall is a nice mall inside 'the bubble' but it's nice to venture out and go into the real world(I wouldn't consider Sugar Land 'the real' world).

What an insult. 1960 is not my Gunspoint. 1960 has upscale areas.

What's the consensus on Memorial City Mall (which I've not been to)? I've heard it has a great play area for children and has the usual suspects as far as shopping.
