They re built that mall. Almost looks like the Galleria. Children Theme.

Memorial City is a very nice mall. It's similar to First Colony. Sharpstown has a great Victoria's Secret. It's beautiful on the inside and generally has better deals than other locations. I kind of like Sharpstown. It has character. And the people that shop there are every day people. It's just that they are every day people that don't live in your neighborhood, which obviously bothers some of us more than others.

I agree, I think Sharpstown is a cool mall and don't have to deal with traffic and crowds. Very relaxed and less noisy.

Memorial city is way better than first colony IMO. It's bigger for one, the kids play area is bigger. FC has a really small play area. MC has a better selection of stores and who doesn't love a Target attached to a mall?

Katy Mills seems like a airport terminal inside. Might as well bring your suitcase on wheels and wheel it around when inside

Sharpstown is under new management. They making several changes and are heading in the right direction. This mall has great potential with it being so close to the Galleria and Sugarland. The biggest obstacle I believe is changing the perception people have about this mall. I am excited to see what becomes of this mall.

I think they should tear it down and rebuild it.

Have they re-paved the parking lot yet? The last time I drove thru there, the potholes were atrocious. What about security? I was literally afraid to get out of my car after seeing some of the people walking thru the parking lot...

Security there is actually quite good. Now, if you are a suburban type who drives a '09 BMW 750 IL and shakes at the sight of minorities, you probably shouldn't go to Sharpstown. Beto, I agree with you. They have to get over the perception. People have no idea that all these beautiful houses are right on the other side off Fondren. Sharpstown in general has tons of potential.
