Default Oakhurst at Kingwood Commute Time

I am interested in knowing the commute time from Oakhurst at Kingwood to downtown (Texas Street) door to door. Thanks.

I live in Oakhurst but I work north of town so I rarely commute through traffic. From my limited experience I would say 35-45 minutes depending on how far back in Oakhurst you buy and how far along Texas St. you work. If you have any other questions about Oakhurst tho let me know.

Thanks. Does anyone commute all the way to downtown that can confirm the commute time?

Oakhurst is just a couple hundred homes. May not be anyone else from there on this forum.

I live across the freeway from Oakhurst in one of the older up front villages of Kingwood. I don't drive downtown ever, but had to in the spring for my daughter's TAKS test. Anyway, it took me 20-25 minutes to get to downtown on the HOV. Chris is probably right, about 35-45 minutes door to door. The first day I drove, we left KW at 6:30am and were parked and inside the GRB at 7:10am. Good traffic day I guess.
