If I had my choice with endless amounts of money...LOL... I would buy an island & live like Swiss Family Robinson! Probably somewhere like Belize! The water is gorgeous! If I didn't have endless amounts of money, I would choose Gatlinburg, Tenn! Love to vacation there! But the only way that I would move anywhere is if my WHOLE family could be there too! Retirement without family would be like death!

Yeah, a third world country is always nice. Especially when you're old and probably need more medical attention. Not gonna take long until one's gonna bite the dust

Then why don't you move?

One of the primary reasons we had picked ABQ was because of the lack of humidity and that is the only reason I've chosen it over Katy.

Dallas has lower humidity.

Back in the real world... we bought some land in Brenham a few years ago, and have been slowly fixing it up. House, barn, horse paddocks. Yes, it's still hot when Houston is hot, but Brenham is a pretty area, rolling hills, wildflowers, small town life. And it's far enough away from Houston to avoid the traffic and rat race, but close enough when you need a big city.

Depends on how much you got.
