So true. The area seems much bigger than it really is. My family lives in the City Park Subdivision and this one other subdivision off Almeda-Genoa.
There about a good 5-10 minutes (without traffic) from the Pearland Town Center.

Westchase area, parts of Memorial maybe, Uptown, Upper Kirby, Midtown, Medical Center. Add most of Clear Lake and Kingwood to those census figures, too.
Edit: I say "parts of memorial maybe" since many of those villages are their own cities like Bellaire, therefore not part of the Houston census.

It seems that most of the western part of the Inner Loop west of 288 is mostly white but that is just my perception
