Default Swine Flu Vaccines!

When do you think the Swine Flu vaccine will be available in the Houston area?

Do you all get Flu Shots every year? I do!

That's the 64,000 question. From what I've read, vaccinations will be ready for distribution by September-early October. Hopefully they can speed things up and start an immunization program before school starts. Yes, I take a Flu vaccine every year. This year will be no exception. I'll take my chances with vaccine related injuries as opposed to getting seriously ill with H1N1.

They might jack up the prices. $50 a shot with no insurance.

camon!! this H1N1 thing is just a Hoax for people with money to spend it. Does anybody know anyone infected? or anyone who knew anyone that knew someone... For god sake a LOT more people will die because of the normal flu!! but why should anyone bother if they still cannot afford a flu shot.

I agree. They are not even testing people for the H1N1 any more, at the request of the Federal Government I might add. So why should we all spend the money on a shot for a virus that may not even be as prevalent in the community any more? That's just ridiculous. People are so gullible.

Yeah ok. Tell that to the 12 children in my daycare that have all tested positive for H1N1. They ARE still testing. I know more people who have tested positive than I care to. The symptoms are horrible, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I think it sucks royally that nobody that WANTS flu shots can get them.

Actually yes...I know 5 people, personally, who have had the swine flu. Additionally, 2 close friends have friends who are attending funerals for their friends who have lost children to H1N1. I'm not going to argue to merits--perceived or otherwise--of the vaccine, but swine flu is real, and while people die of the regular flu as well, H1N1 seems to be less predictable.

I wonder if the same people who created the Virus are also setup to profit from the vaccine?
