Looking for a nice, inexpensive hotel/motel near Rice University for the middle of July. Any suggestions?

You might have to go out a mile or two (visitors to campus seem to always be disappointed that Zaza and the Hilton Medical Center get near $200/night), but the Holiday Inn on Main and the Crowne Plaza on 59 run ~100 and the Extended Stay on Braeswood is probably less than that..

Or the Holiday Inn on 59 & Kirby not to far away. I think there's some more hotels around that part too but I can't think of them and too lazy too look it up.
