Pechory is on a distinguished road
Default Oakhurst at Kingwood

Hey all. I have lived in Kingwood for over 15 years. Looking to move and cannot seem to find a home in Kingwood with what we are looking for (newer construction with a pool). Found something in Oakhurst. I like the easy access to 59. Not thrilled about New Caney ISD, but would appreciate any input on that. Will Oakhurst hold it's property value like Kingwood? Any and all input appreciated.

I live in Oakhurst and like it. Also not thrilled about New Caney schools but we are sending our son to private school for now. Property values have held well in the older sections but fell somewhat last year in the newer sections. I think this will end once they finish building out the neighborhood and your no longer competing against new construction. Fairways for instance just built out its last lot this month so there is only one new big section to fill and a few scattered lots in 4 of the older sections. What is your price range?
