Default Moving From CA to Houston Texas in one month

Hi ALL:

These are the sites I will be working in:

10311 Westpark Dr. Houston, 77042

12221 N. Houston Rosslyn Rd. Houston, TX 77027

1333 W. Loop South, Houston, TX 77027

16415 Jacinto Port Blvd. Houston Tx 77015.

Never been to Houston, need to know where I can start looking to live? Pls. Advise. Thank YOU!

With the exception of the last address, these are all on the west side of town, so that's gonna be a good place to start.

What is your budget? Are you married? Do you have kids? Concerned about school districts? Whatever you do, I'd probably advise that you rent before you buy anything, just so that you can get a feel for the area and figure out what's really best for you.

So west side of town. Got it..

For now as you stated I am solo testing the waters in texas. As far as budget is concerned no more that $650.00 a month. Is this doable to find a nice complex? If so, can you recommend any places in that area? Pls. Advise.

I moved to the area 3 years ago and looked around for appartments in the Galleria, Med Center, and West University. For a 2 bedroom appartment the asking rate ranged from 900 to 1200 per month. Thankfully I got a house outside the city before I had to move out of the corporate appartment.

Where in CA. I also moved from CA to Houston few years ago. Do you want to live close to those areas?
