Terrible. At least no one is dead.
That school sure is plagued with lots of problems.
Saw this part of the article and thought it even more strange:
"Pickens said university police, who are investigating, reported that the shooting involved a Missouri City-Fresno gang rivalry."

Except that the University police apparently couldn't handle the investigation and turned it over to HPD, 5 hours later. When HPD got there, the evidence had been compromised and all the witnesses were gone, they pretty much said the investigation was botched by the TSU police according to various news sources this AM. Pretty sad, but typical of some of the problems (referring to the botched investigation) reported at that campus.

TSU police suck! All they do is watch youtube, check myspace, and hit on the students. They not good for nothing. |

I'm not surprised. I have a friend whose sister goes to Prarie View A&M. Apparently, there is a section of dorms that is just like the hood complete with gunfire, drug dealing gangbangers the whole nine yards.

yep! lol
It's lots of stuff that go on at this school and no one do anything about it. Selling drugs, prostituting, fights,clearing students accounts so they are going here for free, professors sleeping with students,etc |

Sad story, but I wasn't surprised when this breaking news came on last night. The school basically admits anyone who applies, which is bound to attract a bad element. Just check the freshman class statistics, which in itself paints a good picture.
(Graduating is a completely different story, though.)
