Need to rent temporary place in Houston,TX (Spring, Jersey Village: apartment, rental)

Hi, I'm moving to Houston TX in May of 2007 for a new job as a flight attendent. Does anyone know of a very reasonable house/1 room apt/ or something I can rent for about 2-6 months? I may have a roommate coming also. I can't afford much?

I'd recommend looking in the Galleria area because it's very nice and right in the middle of both HOU and IAH. Since I've been in Houston I found that many rental properties offer 3-month, 7-month, and 12-month leases.

I have 2 properties that will be available in May in Houston for rent. They are both 2 bedroom 2 baths and will be renting for $1300 and $900. The $900 is in Jersey Village and the $1300 is in Spring Branch. Intersted?

I agree The Galleria is pretty nice, but it's also one of the most expensive places in Houston!!
