expanding hardy toll road and interstate 45.
Since all the bunny huggers don't want to run 249 to downtown or 610 why couldnt they just add more lanes to hardy toll road and make a full exchange at beltway 8 and hardy toll road its being extended to downtown anyway. Then run the freeway part of 249 to interstate 45 but it would not merge right away. It would run as 3 elevated lanes on each side along 45 and merge with 45 near 610. We already have lanes that could be used to run hardy toll road to 610 south of downtown. The elevated lanes of highway 5 could be converted to toll road and the revenue used to pay to run hardy toll road (highway 5) to 610 and maybe use the right of way on telephone road to run it all the way to beltway 8. Highway 225 could be extended a little futher west the right of way is already there. Westpark toll road could be extended a little futher east to help with congestion on 59. Another thing the traffic on stubner airline backs up bad near beltway 8. They need to widen it to 5 lanes on each side and build an interchange at beltway 8, and overpasses like the one on kuykendahl and 1960 at Antoine, 249, 1960, and Bammel North-Houston. Bammel North-Houston needs to be widened to 4 lanes south of Little York and 3 lanes south of Veterans Memorial. Hollister need to run all the way from 249 to 290 and Fairbanks North-Houston needs to be extended past beltway 8 to Gessner.
