Houston Mod is holding a Mod of the Month open house event today in the wonderful 1950's and 1960's Meyerland neighborhood in hopes of finding a new owner for a mid-century modern house. The house is fantastic, flat roofed with lots of glass, and situated on two beautiful lots. The daughter of the original owner plans to attend the event and will hopefully tell us more about the place.

9007 Manhattan Drive
Houston, Texas 77096
Open 2 - 4 PM
July 11, 2010

Please drop by and learn how you can help promote the preservation of Houston's important modern architectural heritage. Houston Mod has published four books about modern architecture in Houston. Three will be available at the event today.
