Pictures of what happened to Lakeside Country Club last week during the rains.
Wilcrest in Western Memorial. This was the massive pool and summer pool house grill.........well you can't see it because it's under FEET of water.

4 pages of photos.

Doug Durkee Photography

This is directly across the bayou from me. I had NO water.

The picture that has the balconey, that's the SECOND floor of the club. The guy in the Canoe is Coach Ashley who's been running the youth camp since I was a kid.

Wow. Some of those pictures look like they could've been taken in a rainforest. Crazy!

So I've been walking and shooting pictures the last three days, since it's been nice outside and all. But people are gonna have to wait....HAIF and SSP have nearly maxed out my photobucket bandwidth quota. Getting all bigtime and stuff, lol.

Default New Photos of Galveston and Houston

Wondering if I should post all these in one post or spread 'em out? Maybe I just just post a few and provide a link to the rest...

Well I was in Galveston for a conference in April and took a couple from my room at the San Luis Resort:

This one is "enhanced" for mood:

And then on Friday I had to visit my Grandmother at Methodist so I shot some around the Med Center:

Amazing all the cranes and building going on down there:

And I also took a few from the car as I drove through Rice Village:

Then I got stuck in a big construction mess on Kirby:

Ok so that's enough for this post. I'll move on to my photowalk in the Galleria later.

You can find a link to the whole set on Flickr here.
