Default Help! Good neighborhoods near Klein Oak HS??

So, my fiance and I are looking to buy our first house. We want to settle in the Klein ISD area, but are unfamiliar with the different neighborhoods. We are looking for a nice, established neighborhood, where we can buy a nice starter home. The internet really doesn't tell us much about nice, family-oriented neighborhoods! Any suggestions? Klein Oak is probably where he will be working, but it is more important for us to find a great location...we can drive a few miles if need be! Any tips/information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Start your search in Northampton. It's a great old neighborhood with good bones, large lots, big trees, and it's still growing. There's an entirely new section of higher-end homes near the golf course. It's also within easy reach of the Woodlands Mall and Market Street.

You may also look at Windrose.

Lots of good choices in this area.

I've looked at both of those, and they are beautiful neighborhoods, but the houses are a little out of our price range. Any other suggestions?

Pachumus: the only Timbercrest I know of is a manufactured home community in the Klein area, they are set on land..don't know much about the community itself but the area and schools are good..

Go to the Klein website, click on campuses, then attendance zones. You will see all of the subdivisions in each school zone.

I believe Windrose feeds into Klein Oak. Its a very nice neighborhood of all price ranges.

Since you don't actually have to have kids attend Klein Oak, you can check out all of the area. 77379, 77389, 77388 on www.har.com.
