I wonder how Houston booster Renaud is doing over in France these days. Is he throwing rocks at policemen? Overturning cars? Blocking the fuel depots? Or maybe trapped in an apartment blocked by said rioting students.

All because the government wants to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62. Here in the US, I've heard whispers of pushing it to 67.

Why is the thread "Moving from Seattle to the Houston Area" locked? Since I lived in Seattle for 10 years, I wrote out a response before realizing that the thread was locked. I don't see anything about the thread that would cause it to be locked.

I don't remember seeing a Houston chat thread.

More cold weather coming, I hear. I was out of town and missed all the action last week. I can take the low temperatures but the frozen precip can stay away.

What's everybody up to today?
