Talking Lock Rekeying and/or Repalcement

Is it normal to change your locks every so often and How often should it be done?

Jobs are hard to find and it has been going on for nine years now and I for one am really sick of it. People are making excuses just because they just don't want to help me and I'm in my 30's now. They really need to fix the issue!

The Astros brought Houston a championship, now the responsibility has shifted to the Rockets and Texans. Houston has the talent to become a sports championship city.

Have you tried this place. It's in your area. I worked there back in the 1970's. Quit and went back there in the early 1980's. Here's the link to their website. By the way, I left again in 1982 to live in the mountains. No mountains in Houston/Bellaire.

If you are in your 30’s and can’t find a job at a time of very low unemployment, I have to assume you don’t have the skills that employers need. Either that or you don’t want to move to a place where your skills are valued.

As to picking up a marketable skill, if you are in your very early 30’s, I would highly recommend a stint in one of the military branches (especially the Air Force or Navy) if you can’t afford schooling. You’ll not only be trained to do a job based on evaluation of your abilities, you might also be eligible for tuition assistance should you decide to go to college or trade school.

Try not to throw up your hands and give up. There are options out there, but at your age, you need to act quickly if you are going to avoid a life of dead end, minimum wage jobs that you hate.

One last thing concerning this statement... “they just don't want to help me”. If you’re talking about employers, you’ve got it backwards. Employers will only hire you if YOU can help THEM. A business is not a charity. Each employee has to be able to either directly or indirectly generate income for the company. That’s the only way they can stay in business. If you have a skill they need, and they like what they see of your personality and background during an interview, you’ll be hired.

Remember when you went to Lee's Sandwiches trying to open a coconut from HEB when a carload of Southwest Cholos pulled up?
