I live in Germany, and the same exact thing happens to me when I drink the German tap water. Which is rarely.

A very light sore throat the next morning, but it dissipates shortly thereafter. Very weird.

If I ran into that situation, I would take a sample of that water and get it tested.
The only thing is that I don't know where to take it.
I'm guessing that the water utility company would be a good place to start.
