I am relocating to the Houston area from Oklahoma. I have an MIS degree, IT experience, and an accounting degree. I am currently working as a Tax Analyst and searching for any type of accounting related position. I have reposted my resume and applied to multiple Houston companies/staffing agencies, but have so far received no response (I was bombarded by local companies after graduation and still receive emails about jobs...).

If anyone has had a similar experience or know of any good staffing agencies, I would appreciate the advice. I don't really want to move without a job, as plan B involves a harmonica and a tip jar.

Thanks for the advice, I will apply to Primary Services. I discovered that someone I know actually has some contacts in the area, so they have forwarded my resume.

My next step is to change the address on my resume to my friend's Houston address. If that does not get any results, I will probably just search after I move to the area.
