Get a hand held steamer and steam everything in her room that is fabric(bed, sofa, chair anything you can not place in the washer), wash all clothes, and if you can get the carpets cleaned so they don't spread. Also, there is a spray you can get from home depot or a similar store that is for fleas and bedbugs.

The good part is that it's totally natural and safe for people. It just plays hell on tiny little insects by dehydrating them.
No it isn't. There is food grade and pool grade. I have used the food grade myself for ant control and it works immediately, for ants at least. I have also used DE as a natural parasite control on livestock and pets. It really works! I even know people who eat it themselves so it's totally safe. You can usually find the food grade stuff at a garden center (it also works on garden pests) or livestock supply or if all else fails, online.

Before I actually started trying many of the organic remedies I was pretty skeptical, but I've been completely won over by how well naturopathy works.

Good to hear. Glad it works. I used it around my garden, back when I had a garden. I'm aware of the fact that it comes in different grades/sizes for different uses. I just hadn't heard about the bedbug thing before.
