Just returned home from the Depeche Mode concert and all I can say is WOW and OUTSTANDING!!!! They put on a really outstanding show here in Dallas and twice during the encore I heard Dave call us Houston. It was difficult to really understand him since the Dallas audience was giving soooo much love to the band with chants and applauses they did not seem to hear it…but I heard it and if any Houstonians were in the crowd I am sure they heard it as well. On the third encore he called us Dallas!...someone back stage must have said “your in Dallas” They put on a brilliant show and I had so much fun watching them and was absoutely impressed at how awsome the show was. They gave us 3 encores and in other cities only 2 encores. The Dallas crowd gave a lot of love and respect and support and the band played on with total reception to the crowd. Houston fans if you go to the concert this evening at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion….give them more audience love and support and you will see the band play on in perfection!!! I would give anything to be able to see the show tonight in Houston…anyone out there with an extra ticket close to the stage… The opening act was great as well! I highly recommend the show and opening act! Cheers!!!!

I feel very old. I last saw Depeche Mode in high school, 1982 or 1983, don't remember.
Sounds like a good show!

Glad you enjoyed them. Last time I saw them I paid 10 quid (about $16) in a nice small venue in the NW of England which is why I'm not seeing them in Houston. It worked out at nearly $400 including parking.

I like them a lot but not $400 worth........

We are not old just ripe! I am 45 and no one can beleive it they think I am barlely 30! Good genetics but I really don't feel old. Heck I am not old. 89 is old not 45.

Good show. I sat 6th row and paid 155(actually the boyfriend paid for our tickets and I bought the nice dinner before the show!) I love to see good performances and don't mind paying to sit up close. I won't dare tell you how much I paid to sit courtside during the playoffs when Gary Payton played with the Sonics but to me it was worth it. I don't think 155 was too outrageous and it was a super fun night with good energy all around.

I was there too - about ten years ago in Joel Osteen's church. Those were some crazy days.
