Default Taylor Morrison homes with VA financing

We are looking to purchase a Taylor Morrison home in League city, and appreciate hearing if past home buyers were satisfied with quality and service!
We are also using our V.A. mortgage and are wondering if anyone has had negative experience using the builder's V.A. financing.
Thanks!

The rules on V.A. financing are set by the govt and it will be the same from anyone. The only difference is the interest rate and discount fee you negotiate because the other fees are set unlike with conventional loans where they can load you up with junk fees. Lenders hate using VA since they lose out on those fees and they will try to gouge you on the interest to make up for it.

Also be careful on the taxes. If the home is new construction then the taxes are probably still set on the previous year when it was just an empty lot so when the builder goes to reimburse you for taxes owed up to the date of closing they will try to give you money based on the land value and not the true current value that you will pay. This can cost you thousands of dollars if your not careful.
