Default where would you go

if money was not an issue, but time was where would you go?
i mean if you could leave friday and return sunday and didnt want to spend 5+ hours on a plane (as it would cut your time in half) where would you go from houston?

If you want to avoid a plan ride do a romantic weekend in the Hill Country. Lots of beautiful places to say that way.

maybe that is to Grand Bahama we stayed near Port Lucia ( i think) and we went thru Ft Lauderdale. It seemed really quick.

Vegas is super cheap right now you can stay at the Wynn or Bellagio for half of what it cost last year. See a Cirque De Solei and hear some really great music at La Fountain bar in the Bellagio.

Colorado is really pretty in the Fall

One good thing is we're not too far in the air from most of North and Central America or much of the Caribbean. The options are limitless. Pretty much anywhere in the Lower 48 or Mexico are in play if you want to fly.

Hop on a short (4 day) cruise out of Galveston... while longer than your 2 day weekend, you can get some great deals on short notice at this time of year.
