I'm one of the people who has gotten sick after getting a flu shot. Not sure if it was the flu, but I couldn't get out of bed, except to throw up for two days about a week after the shot. I'm not sold.

Curious what people think about this article:

Article about flu shots
then it wasn't the vaccine itself that made you ill..... the viruses grown and then killed for the vaccine are grown in chicken eggs.... so if you are sensitive to eggs, you should not have the flu shot..... also, if you are sensitive to any of the other inert ingredients used to make the vaccine dose, then of course, you should not have the shot..... but that goes for ANY vaccination.......

you had already been exposed to an intestinal virus when you got your flu shot ... or possibly food poisoning around the time you became ill....... as a rule, influenza is a RESPIRATORY illness that does not involve the intestinal tract.......

^^^ I disagree, I was fine before I got any of the flu shots. Did it 3 different years, same result each time.

My sister & I are debating about getting the flu shot. Just not sure what to do this year. I've only got the shot once about 5 years ago & everything was fine. I've never had the flu in about 10 years or so.
