Red face Considering move to Valley Lodge, Simonton, TX

Currently we live in Katy but are considering a move out to Valley Lodge in Simonton. We driven though the area and it seems nice and spacious but I have to wonder about flooding from the Brazos River. I can't seem to find much on the Web except news about FEMA's 100 year flood plain maps. Can anyone give me insight as to whether this is a valid concern?

You are wise to investigate. Valley Lodge has flooded several times. Since I have lived in the Ft Bend Co area. Ask alot of questions, get a CLUE report and enjoy your home search.
