I'm planning a family road trip in December along I-10 (Gulf Coast, Texas to Florida) and am looking for fun things for active children to do along the way. I don't mind going an hour or so off the interstate for something really good. I see some state and national parks and wildlife refuges in LA and AL, just not sure if there's really much to see at any of them in December.
