City of Houston - I need your help!

What are some beautiful places I can take my girlfriend for a proposal? I was thinking of taking her to a fishing dock in clear lake. Because, that's actually where I first met her. But I'm open for other suggestions.

Also, what is a place where I can take her for dinner the night of the proposal? or what about Clear Lake?

Many thanks!

Have dinner at The Grove at Discovery Green and then take her up to the rooftop overlooking the skyline http://www.thegrovehouston.com/

Taking her back to where you first met is very romantic.
If you want to stick with the ClearLake theme....Starfleet has dinner cruises on the lake.

I was initially planning to have a dinner cruise near the Hyatt hotel in Austin. I was disappointed that the idea didn't work out. Thanks for sharing Shelby! You made my day!

Any recommendations for lunch that day? I'm unfamiliar with this area. Any local favorites? Best in the area? Thanks!

Artista Restaurant in Hobby Center.
Skyline Restaurant at the top of the Hilton Americas.
With either, reserve a table near the window ahead of time!

I say skip the cliches... go with something that has meaning for the both of you... it should be about you two as a couple, and not as individuals. I think the dock idea is a good start.

Also, make sure to start the evening out HERE (http://tinyurl.com/ygusuwf - broken link)

try this place out in Seabrook right off of Clear Lake: Welcome to Signature Bistro!

I haven't been there, but it's a cool looking little place and I've heard it has the best food in Clear Lake.

I've been to Signature Bistro. Not sure about it being the best food in ClearLake, but it is a cute little spot for lunch.
