One of the oldest restaurents in Houston. I think its there since the 70's. Its pretty good.

Just to let you know we went to the Mantra on S.Mason in Katy last night and it was ace... good food... good service... lovely place to eat... highly recommend it.

Love the atmosphere and food at Mantra in Sugar Land but the service lacks.

There are two types of South Asian restaurants in Houston....

Non-Veg and Veg.

Non-Veg tends to be the more Pakistani type food

and Veg. Tends to be the northern India (Hindu) type food

maybe that would straighten out the confusion

I had been to both Mantra and Pavani (Belwtway / 59 South). I felt Pavani had lot of choices on their lunch buffet where as Mantra is very limited.

Veggie is South Indian dishes like Dosa/Idaly.
