Default relocation to houston

HI, I am going to start working in the 77036 zipcode( close to bellaire blvd and the Sam Houston toll way), I am trying to get a sense where should i rent based on the following issues
1. something which could be close to very good public school, I have 2nd grader and 4 year old ( if not possible, would have to settle for private school , though is going to be tight by budget)
2.not have to travel more then 15-20minutes in drive
3.rental complex which could take 6 month lease and have facilities like pool, tennis
4.safe location
5. okay with 2-3 BD and not wanting to spend more then $1500/month unless very special
I would really appreciate some feedback

Head a little north on the Beltway & I-10, to Memorial 77024 or 77079. You can rent a nice townhouse for that amount. The schools are excellent. I would suggest: The Pines & Georgetown. There are various other ones in the area that are very nice, but I'm not sure on rent price. For an Apartment: The Alexan at Memorial Bend.

Use HAR.COM and search for "residental lease" in those zips. Many families live in those complexes to take advantage of the schools.

{Mod Edit, cant link to individual properties]
A little farther in I could suggest Hudson Oaks. It's an extremely nice complex.

Also check out the west part of Sugarland, there are also some good apartments on Briar Forest just east of Hwy 6.
