Default Houston neighborhoods with the highest income (buying power)?

I'm doing a study for a business plan and would like to know from Houston-ites what are the areas/neighborhoods with the highest level of buying power and/or highest income. Or possibly any ideas where I could look?

If there are specific communities (like Cinco Rancho in Katy, TX) that would be great as well. Or possibly a list of upcoming communities. Basically where is Houston growing towards?

Thanks in advance,
Luis

Here's a General Growth Properties Demographic Map of the Northwest quadrant of Houston, everything in between, probably the fastest growth area in the Houston MSA.

http://www.ggp.com/content/live/data/HHIncome/Willowbrook%20Mall%20(TX)%20Average%20Household%20 Income%20Map.pdf (broken link)

Note: This map doesn't reflect the newest growth in the Bridgelands/Blackhorse/Cypress Creek Lakes Area, which would fall in the $100,000+ avg HHI range.

Here's a map of the Southwest quadrant:

Here's a map of the Southeast quadrant:

Here's a map of the Northeast quadrant:

The highest income areas are going to be the Memorial Villages, Tanglewood, River Oaks, Southampton/West U areas.

Thanks so much Mr. Football, this is perfect!

You metion Bridgelands/Blackhorse/Cypress Creek Lakes Area, where are these located on the maps you provided (estimate)?

Also, thanks modster, where is Memorial Villages, Tanglewood, River Oaks, Southampton/West U in reference to the maps?

Also, what about office info in the higher income areas? Any Web sites with such info? Specifically looking for 6,000+ square feet for showroom and some offices.

Finally, which areas have new housing going up the most over the next 5 years? Outside of Houston (i.e. Katy, South Land, etc.) or inside Houston?

Thanks again for the info!

Here's the District Growth Study for Cy-Fair ISD. It includes estimates on the number of new homes expected as well as highlighted growth areas (Bridgeland is the biggest new growth area on the maps)

It appears they're expecting another 49-50,000 new homes before district "buildout" (est. 2016-2020).
