Default Some great service people!

So we moved in our house (77385) about 1 month ago and it's been non-stop since. This house is a bit of a fixer-upper due to lack of maintenance from the previous owner, but nothing earth shattering.

For anyone interested, we have found a fantastic:

Plumber - Mike Wilson 936-648-6188

Pool guy - The Pool Techs 713-781-8600 (Kee)
Pool Maintenance Cleaning The Woodlands

Sprinkler Repair - M&D Sprinklers 281-367-4890
Sprinkler Systems - The Woodlands - Magnolia - Spring - M & D Sprinklers

We have also found a NOT GOOD "handy man" who I won't "out" here, but if you want to know who to avoid, PM me and I'll share his companies name.
His guys took 8 hours and 4 trips to Home Depot to install a kitchen sink and faucet then needed to come back when I realized they hadn't rehooked up the dishwasher...then the owner had to come back the next day because the handle were put on backwards...then I found it leaking...
Then they didn't cap off a sprinkler and removed a zone pipe without capping it when putting down stone so when the sprinklers went off, we had some mini geysers...thus needing us to find the great sprinkler company.

I also compared pricing for fire ant control between Scotts and TruGreen. TruGreen beat Scotts using the same brand. Scotts offered to beat Tru Green on the 3rd go round, but it was too late, we already set up Trugreen. Next November we will give Scotts a chance to be competitive.

Also found a great "Home Theater" company for real people. They were VERY neat and competitively priced both with labor and devices. They installed 4 flush mount speakers and hooked up all the equipment to the new receiver. They even came back a few days later when we wanted the remote programmed a little differently. It was a small job but they were true professionals.

We also just bought a house in 77385, I sure do wish you had found a good roofing guy, we need some minor repair work done on our roof.

Just found a GREAT tree guy!! King Solomon's - Andrew Robinson - 281-367-1915

Yesterday I called King Solomon. This AM he called back and was out to my house to see what we wanted done...by 10AM he had his AMAZING crew out to take down 6 trees and grind 2 stumps! All for just $1300+ tax! What a nice gentleman, too...HIGHLY recommended!

Also found a great restoration/cleaning company. Rainbow International - 281-367-9694

Unfortunately the Culligan water softener we had installed by Culligan sprang a geyser of a leak early Friday AM due to an improper installation. It flooded the house through the laundry, hall, 1/2 bath, some office and kitchen. Culligan is responsible for it but I called our HOI for a recommendation. Our Homeowners Insurance recommended Rainbow. FANTASTIC! Thomas Lucas was "our guy" and he was knowledgeable and professional. Hopefully we will never need them again for restoration, but I would use them for cleaning.

Sorry I don't have a roofing guy. Hopefully I will never need one since we have a metal roof...
