Default Upscale apartments south of Houston?

My husband's job recently transferred him to Texas City and we wanted to know if there were any upscale apartments in that general area. We would prefer to be somewhere between Pearland and League City if possible, but I can't seem to find any apartments with the amenities we want. We have been living in West Houston and have gotten spoiled with our side by side refrigerator with water dispenser, flat top stove, nice dishwasher, washer and dryer, attached garage and open floor plan. I wanted to know if there was anyplace closer to his work that had those same amenities.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Look in the Clear Lake or South Shore areas.

Thanks. I think I did, but didn't find anything. Well, not true. I found one, Broadstone, but it has no availability...

When I was looking for those kind of apartments, I actually noticed that too. I guess most who can spend the $$ on that kind of apartment would buy a house, since it's in the suburbs. How much are you looking to spend?

We are willing to pay around $1700/month for a 3 bedroom with the amenities we want.
I too figured most people just bought a house, but my husband will probably only be in that area for a year or so.

You can find a 3/2/2, single family rental home in that price range in most of the Clear Lake neighborhoods.

We love the Park at Armand Bayou in Clear Lake. It's almost like a residential neighborhood. There is also one near NASA across from the Hilton, (Village something, I don't remember), that looks very fancy (Venetian style), perhaps too fancy, at least for our taste.

Oh, I forgot, if you want real upscale, and don't mind a highrise, then check out the Endeavor tower. You can't miss it.

Endeavour has issues - don't think I'd rent there - bldg. is under foreclosure so that could create issues for renters depending on how individual owners handle

I currently rent in Pearland. Alexan at Shadow Creek. I love the amenities and community here. It is a new build, so we are the first tenants. I pay around $890 for a 1 bedroom. The two bedroom is gorgeous and if you get a unit on the 1st floor they all have hardwood flooring. True luxury apt. Welcome to Alexan Shadow Creek Ranch!

Also - had a great experience with my realtor who specializes in apt finding. his name is Andrew Evans with Apartment Gurus and received $140 rebate from their company for working with them. Relocating from Las Vegas to Houston, he made it easy and was very informative.
