Default questions about Lights in the Heights

I've never been, never even heard about it until recently. Have out of towners visiting this weekend and have considered taking them over there. Can anyone tell me more about it? I visited the website but there isn't much info. Are there food vendors, if so what kinds, any other information would be great. Thank you!

It's fun. You walk through the neighborhood, the streets are packed with people, you look at lights. People play music on their porches. Vendors sell stuff here and there. Good times.

Its a pretty cool event, sort of city wide attraction. You can also roast marshmellows while someones house burns down.

Before it got so crowded, it had a laid back "Dickens on the strand" appeal. And was for the Neighborhood. Now, like with our favorite fishing hole, not so much. But still big Fun. Santa will be there too.

Had a nice time there last night. But please if you bring your kids in a wagon or stroller please try to not make sudden turns or ram then into someone elses shins while you are looking at stuff. I was fortunate for only tripping over 3 kids.
