I was trying to find a good carpet cleaner in Houston Area. Blackmon Mooring or Stanley Steemer is a better choice? Could you please suggest if you have any experience with them?

I prefer Chem-dry. They don't use steam and everything dries in about an hour (thus no soggy padding to get moldy or heavy wet carpet to get stretched). It's a carbonated deal. They've done wonders for me and my neighbors. I think they are individually owned franchises and service particular areas. So it depends on what side of town - which one you would call. I live on the side of town serviced by one in the Clear Lake area.
