Default Are there american friends to help me in english?

I got here in america for about 3 months, but there is no too much chance to practice my english. I nearly only speak english with my boss. So, I feel there is no improvment of my english even I am in USA.
It is hard to find a native english speaking friend to talk to me
Who can so nice to give a help?
If you wanna make a friend with chinese guy, pls email me wencai_ma@126.com

Where are you from?

What do you like to do for fun? I can think of so many places you could go to. What about your co-workers? Have you tried to make friends? You could also stay here and talk to us, read the threads, participate.

Edit: Ok, thanks for adding chinese.

You can also go to Meetup.com. There are groups dedicated to learning your language. There are lots of English speakers there. And it's all free.

Do you go to church? If so, then that's a great place to meet people. You could join a gym, ping pong club etc. There are several in Houston. Participate in gym activities etc.
Also, people don't mind if you they get involved in a little small talk. You got a cute dog. What breed, what does he like for breakfast? lol. People love to talk about their dogs. That gets a conversation going.

Yeah, I went to church several times. but it is a church for chinese. So, although I am in USA, but I still live in chinese world, which blocks me in learning english.
Thanks for all your suggestion, I will try to use that
