Default Texas License Plate Law In Texas

I have been driving my current vehicle since 2007. I do have a back side license plate but not the front. However I do have the front inside my car, just not showing on the dashboard. Will I get pulled over?

Is having 1 plate good enough?

So in the meanwhile, should I be showing the license plate on the passenger dashboard until I get a mounting bracket to install it?

Dunno, I guess that works. But I did get pulled over once for not having a front license plate.

I think in Texas both have to be the same... the front and the back. So what you're talking about?

I don't remember how much it was. Probably around 75 bucks, but I got it dismissed when I went to court. You can fight those tickets.

For temporary purposes. I can put the front license plate on the passenger side of my dashboard right?
