Default Home insurance rates after Rita?
Curious as the title suggests

if there were any hikes in premiums after Rita even in the more inland areas.

I/S companies tend to increase premiums (sometimes nationwide) to subsidize claims that may be made in other parts of a city or country.

Did any of you all see this occur with your bills?
