Um, the usual happened. I'm sure the fact that you bunched all of these things together makes it seem like it was particularly bad, but things happen all the time. Like now for instance, just think about all the things that are happening. No seriously, go ahead.

It's just a spike day those days do occur every now and then. The world is not a safe place. If violence doesn't get you, accidents and illnesses will. If they don't, then old age will. Having said that, Houston doesn't even make the top ten most dangerous cities in America.

First of all, I did not "bunch together" anything. This was an extraordinary day. Even the news said it's been a long time since the last single day of so much violence.
Also, if you think that's an average day, I gotta ask you where you live? Greenspoint? And no, NOT every day is like this... not even close.

My point was that things happen everywhere. Maybe in Houston this was a bad day, but it's nothing to be perplexed over.

Also, you know good and well where I live. It says it right there in that little corner every time I comment.
Well, maybe I just missed all those killings and shootings that have happened every day over the last years here in Houston

Perhaps the good ole' ground hog seeing his shadow for 6 more weeks of winter made a few extra people snap!!

Houston is starting to turn into LA in many ways. Reminds me of early 90's.

That's a shame, but seriously? That's NOTHING where I'm from (Philly). That really WAS every single day on the news for us. The worst part was a culture of "no snitching" so the criminals were hardly ever caught.
